Abstract

In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappingsin fuzzy metric spaces with common property (E.A) and give some examples to illustrate ourresults. As an application to our main result, we present a common fixed point theorem forfour finite families of self mappings in fuzzy metric spaces by using the notion of the pairwisecommuting mappings. Our results improve and extend some relevant results existing in theliterature.
