The Kuwait Journal of Science is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes four issues per year (January, April, July, October) focusing mainly on full research papers that cover different aspects of applied and pure science.

Since 2023, the Kuwait Journal of Science has partnered with Elsevier and is publishing open-access, peer-reviewed articles on ScienceDirect.

The journal welcomes submissions of original manuscripts. For more information, refer to the Guide for Authors page. Authors can submit their manuscripts using the Editorial Manager submission site for the journal.

As a continuation of Kuwait Journal of Science and Engineering (KJSE, ISSN: 1024-8684), which has been in publication by the Academic Publication Council of Kuwait University since 1974, the Kuwait Journal of Science (KJS) has published research articles as an independent journal from June 2013 with ISSN 2307-4108 (Print), ISSN 2307-4116 (Online) and DOI: 10.48129/KJS.

Kuwait Journal of Science covers the following fields:
