Lakdere Benkherouf is a working as a Professor at the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Kuwait University, Kuwait. He obtained his degree in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (Algiers, Algeria) in 1983, MSc-DIC in Management Science in 1985, and PhD-DIC in Statistics in 1988 both from Imperial College (London, UK). His research interests are in Stochastic modeling, Inventory control, and Applied Optimization. Professor Benkherouf published more than 90 articles in refereed journals, presented papers in conferences and published chapters in books.

Dr Aurelian Bejancu obtained his Ph. D. from DAMTP, University of Cambridge, UK. Presently he is an Associate Professor at Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Kuwait University. His research field is in Approximation Theory (spline interpolation, radial basis functions, box-splines, polyharmonic splines) and published 15 papers in refereed journals and 5 papers in refereed conference proceedings. He is nominated as “Excellent Reviewer” by the Journal of Approximation Theory in 2015.

Professor Goran Pichler obtained his Ph. D. (Doktor der Naturwissenschaften) from University of Kiel, Germany. Presently he is a professor of physics at Kuwait University. His area of interests are Femtosecond Laser Physics of Atoms and Molecules, Femtosecond Laser Spectroscopy and Ultracold Atoms and Molecules, Ultrafast Laser cooling of molecules and biomolecules, Medical Application of Laser Spectroscopy, Cold Molecules: Formation, Trapping and Dynamics, Laser Spectroscopy of Metal Vapors, Intermetallic Excimers as candidates for new Lasers, New Energy Sources.

Dr. Hosam AboElFotoh is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department in Kuwait University. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of Waterloo, Canada in 1989. His broad interest and research areas include computer networks, design and analysis of algorithms, distributed and parallel computing and software engineering. He has published more than 35 articles in refereed journals and Conference Proceedings, and one book chapter.

Prof. Shahariar Huda is currently working as a professor department of Statistics & Operations Research Faculty of Science, Kuwait university. He obtained his Ph.D and D.I.C. in Statistics from Imperial College, University of London, U.K. in 1981, which was followed by M.Sc. Statistics in 1978 from Imperial College, University of London, U.K. His Area of Research Interests are Experimental design, Applied Statistics and Biostatistics. Published more than 100 articles in refereed journals and many Presented and Published in Conference Proceedings and in book chapters.

Professor Yehia Abdou Ibrahim obtained his Bechelor of Science,  in Chemistry, Master of Science in Organic Chemistry and Ph. D in Organic Chemistry, from Cairo University, Faculty of Science, Egypt. His area of teachings are, Basic Organic Chemistry, Physical Organic Chemistry (Pericyclic and Reaction Mechanism), Advanced Organic Synthesis, Photochemistry, Basic and Advanced Spectroscopy.

 His Reasearch Interests are Synthesis and reactions of heterocyclic compounds, rearrangement and selective synthesis, photochemistry and cycloaddition reactions, Synthesis of macrocyclic polyether derivatives and analogs (including crown-formazans, crown amides, azacrown and thiacrowns) and their application in selective ion extraction and determination and in catalytic chemistry and stereoselective synthesis (other application are also now under investigation).

Currently Christian Obuekwe is a Professor of Microbiology, Faculty of science, Kuwait University. He received his B.Sc Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife Nigeria in 1974 and M.Sc Microbiology from University of Guelph, Canada in 1978. He obtained his Ph. D in Microbiology from University of Alberta, Canada in 1980.

His areas of Interests are Biodegradation and biodeterioration..

Prof. Ibrahim Al-Rifaiy obtained his Ph. Presently he is a Professor at Department Earth & Environmental Science, Faculty of Science, Kuwait University.
